Assistant Costing and Product Data Coordinator

A vacancy has arisen within the Costing & Product Data Department.
This busy department’s responsibilities include product costing, product data management, the creation and maintenance of product bills of materials, preparing outline specifications and collating work in progress stock take figures.
The successful candidate would be expected to assist with the department’s duties which are performed largely within the company’s main JD Edwards system but which also involve extensive use of Microsoft Access and Excel. Full training will be provided for all departmental tasks.
You must be self-motivated and able to work to deadlines. The ability to follow procedures and work in a logical manner is key to this position as is the ability to continually produce accurate work. To be successful you will need to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels from a variety of functions.
Essential skills for this role are numeracy, accuracy and an ability to develop a good product understanding. Strong computing skills are also required with knowledge of Excel and Access particularly desirable although training can be provided.
