Lamp

Have you ever heard of a Himalayan Salt Lamp? If not, you’re probably not alone but the lamps are believed to create negatively charged ions in the air which allegedly combats “electric smog” and has therapeutic benefits for your health and wellbeing.

The lamps also claim to have a positive impact on sleep by reducing the positive ions in the room and acting as a source of fresh, clean air in your bedroom. But, how good are they really? Our Deeper Sleeper Panel set out to find out!

Brittany from Student Wire didn’t notice a change in her sleeping pattern but she loved the lamp nonetheless calling it “beautiful”. Read her full review here.

Desmond Wilcox spoke highly of the lamp too. He found the warm glow to be calming and he experienced deeper sleep as a result of spending his “last waking hour sat in the company of my lamp”. Read more here.

Whether she imagined it or not, Evie’s Gran felt she breathed more easily when she walked into the room where then lamp was lit. Find out if it impacted on her sleep here.

Dairy of the Dad, Tom Briggs, was surprised to see that the lamp stopped the condensation in his home, which is an asthma trigger and often keeps him awake at night. Tom thought this was “an unexpected result, but a welcome one nonetheless”. Read Tom’s full review here.
