Jemma therefore understands the importance of healthy sleep for maintaining a positive mind and balanced body.

We recently caught up with her to find out how she’s juggling her current ventures, and how her Cantania 2600 from Sealy is helping her get the sleep she needs.

What have you been up to recently?
The past six months have really been about growth for me. I'm currently studying to be a holistic health coach with Integrative Nutrition and planning a total rebrand of my business in the next few months. Also, I've been working on a collaboration with my friend The Mindful Mantra Collective to host our first Balance Day Retreat in April 2018, which you can find out more details about here. Exciting times ahead!

What is your daily sleep routine?
I really enjoy the peace and quiet of the house in the morning, so I like to get up before my husband and little boy to have some time to myself before the morning circus commences. I'm an early bird rather than a night owl, so this time to myself to focus on my day and go through my morning routine really helps. Although, with a toddler thrown into the mix, you can imagine that this doesn't always go to plan!

How have you slept in the past? What kind of sleeper are you?
Since having a baby I've become a really light sleeper and the obvious nightly wake-up calls have really affected my sleep patterns and thus had a knock-on effect on my energy levels during the day.

Has your sleep quality altered since receiving your Cantania 2600? How have you found your new bed?
Since receiving my Cantania 2600, even though I may be getting the same number of hours each night (sometimes less!) I feel that that the quality of my sleep is much better. My body feels more supported and I wake up with fewer aches and niggles.

How important is getting a great night’s sleep when it comes to living a healthy, happy lifestyle?
Sleep is at the very foundation of wellness and feeling great, but it's often sadly overlooked, especially in today's society where we’re frequently guilty of burning the candle at both ends. Getting the best quality sleep that I possibly can is very important to me as I know how awful I feel when I don't and it can really affect my mood and general wellbeing.
